Niall Morris has been appointed as Artistic Director of the Loughcrew Festival Opera. Next year, the company will celebrate its 10 year anniversary with a new production Tosca by Puccini, directed by Niall. Set in the spectacular gardens of the historic Loughcrew House in County Meath, 50 kilometres outside of Dublin, this special event in the opera calendar has become know as the Irish Glyndebourne. Performances will take place on Saturday 30th & Sunday 31st May 2009
It's the end of another wonderful season for Niall Morris as Company Manager at Opera Ireland. The Marriage of Figaro was a sell-out over six nights at Dublin's Gaiety Theatre. A great cast led by Paul Edelman & Daria Masiero. Beautiful designs by Pierre Albert & Jean Bauer. And insightful and imaginative direction from Pascal Chevreton & Marc Adam. This was a Figaro to remember for a long time to come!

Recently Niall sang as special guest at a masked ball in the Netherlands. He played the part of "Mauricio Farinelli" - the great opera singer who had traveled all the way from Naples to entertain the Royal Family.

Niall is delighted to announce he will be the Assistant Director for Opera Ireland's forthcoming production of Mozart's romantic comedy, Cosi Fan Tutte.
